The unique thing about Destiny 2 and other titles like it is there's alternate ways to play it. If someone wants to literally just play for the story, why should you care to comment? Life that boring that you have to make up arbitrary arguments on steam forums about how people should and shouldn't play the game they downloaded? Why have such an issue with how people enjoy their game? What gives you the right to tell people if you don't play this or that way then there's better games to play? Idk how you got no lifing from my question but w/e. (A) Things youll need for this to be most effective 1.) 2 Titans (rocking wol with illuminated) 2.) 1 Hunter (rocking nightstalker with vanishing smoke) 3. If your like me and love the fatebringer youll feel right at home. I've looked at 2.0 mods and stats, and they're just not as good as what 1.0 offers for my play style.Ĭharged with light and warmind mods make armour 2.0 a thousand times better than 1.0 Imago Loop has the potential to be one of the best pvp handcannons given its default range stat. There are a host of better games if you just enjoy the casual destiny loop. I suppose for what you play then you really don't need to expand your playstyle and your variety and that's fair enough, I however still don't see why this game is enjoyable at that point though when you're missing out on alot that it has to offer. I've also got a bunch of godroll stated weapons that I can't upgrade and don't care to replace anytime soon. You cut yourself off from alot of mods and unique builds by sticking with old stuff. Yes there is no mountain top and no recluse, no breakneck but there are weapons that rival their potency pretty well.Īs for armour, armour 1.0 Was changed for a reason, the system in place now is better. We've arguably had more 'best in class' weapons now than we've ever had. This is all good but the weapon rolls have improved pretty substantially since the sunset. I used to do competitive Gambit, but they removed that game mode. I've only raided once, and I mostly run around doing public events and strikes. It's a looter shooter, if you're not doing the looter part then there are a bunch of better games you can play. It's not meant to be a second job that gives one's life meaning and gives one a sense of "progress" that one's wage-cage job completely fails to satisfy.Īvoiding any of the endgame takes away a stupid amount of the game. So the Imago Loop really isn't as good as some people are hoping it will be, but it still gets hyped up simply because it's based on a superbeast from year 1.Because he has fun? That's what a game is for, you know. The folks at Bungie were nice enough to throw us a bone by letting us get the Imago Loop, a hand cannon in the same archetype as the fatebringer with the possibility of rolling the exact same perks (fatebringer's perks were predetermined, as was every year 1 raid weapon.) Sounds good and all, but the problem is that with the hand cannon nerf introduced with year 2 the fatebringer is no longer as much of a beast as it used to be, even in year 1 content. Now enter year 2, where the Fatebringer got left behind. It was part of the Y1 holy trinity (Fatebringer, Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn) so EVERYONE used it. I mean, seriously, absolutely nothing could hold a candle to it. Though it was nothing special in crucible, the fatebringer was THE ONLY primary to use in pve content. It was a hand cannon obtained from the vault of glass. ![]() In year 1 there was this gun called the Fatebringer.
